RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Atwood and Dometic Training Coming to Pennsylvania

146643919183999.jpgCamp Hill, Pennsylvania – The Pennsylvania RV and Camping Association has announced that Atwood Mobile Products and Dometic training are coming to Pennsylvania on Dec. 13–15. The training will be held at Keller Marine and RV in Port Trevorton from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day. Lunch will be provided. Training is free ($330 value) and open to PRVCA members only. The event qualifies for 18 re-certification hours.

Instructor Travis Hudnall will be on-site to review the following information:

Day 1 - Air Conditioners/Sanitation
Day 2 - Furnaces/Awnings
Day 3 - Refrigerators/Water Heaters

This training will include a lecture presentation with comprehensive hands on training included. We will work on product/part identification, proper troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs. Each section also will include a brief overview of the warranty policies for each product line.
