MIDDLEBURY, Indiana - Grand Design Recreational Vehicles will open the doors to a brand new travel trailer manufacturing facility on Nov. 28.
Located adjacent to Grand Design's current 67-acre complex in Middlebury, Indiana, this state-of-the-art facility will be home to the hot selling Imagine travel trailer. With 110,000 square feet under roof, the facility will allow for up to a 75 percent increase in production capacity for the Imagine line.
“The Imagine product has been very well received by our dealers and our retail customers," Grand Design General Manager Micah Staley says. "In just over a year since its introduction, we have produced over 4,000 Imagine Travel Trailers and consumer demand has exceeded our current production capacities. Moving Imagine to its own dedicated facility will allow us to keep up with the ever growing demand for Imagine.”
“Since the introduction of the Imagine product in August 2015, we have been overwhelmed with the retail success of the brand,” Grand Design President and CEO Don Clark says. "We are pleased to see such positive results that have come from the hard work of our entire team of Employees and Dealers. Thank you to our Dealers, Customers and GDRV Team members for helping us grow and making Grand Design the awesome company that it has become.”
