RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Jayco Hires Marc Hauser as VP of Sales and Product Development

145772453923690.pngMiddlebury, Indiana - Jayco has announced the addition of Marc Hauser to its Corporate Staff as Vice President of Sales and Product Development for the towable group.

In his new position, Hauser will oversee sales and product development for the Jayco, Starcraft and Highland Ridge divisions.

Over his career spanning close to 30 years, Hauser has held Executive Management positions in both the wholesale and retail sides of the RV Industry, most recently serving as the Operations Manager for Blue Dog RV.

“We are excited to have Marc join our team," Jayco COO Matt Thompson says. "His tenure in the industry has been highlighted with successes, this combined with his drive and leadership skills will serve the Jayco Towable group well.”
