RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

REV Group Kicks off VIP Weekend at NASCAR Championship

148096091563539.jpgThe REV Recreation Group kicked off its VIP weekend at Miami-Homestead for NASCAR Championship weekend with Friday night cocktails and dinner on the SeaFair, a megayacht event venue.

Guests enjoyed views of the Miami skyline as the 228-foot-long yacht chartered through the Biscayne Bay. Saturday’s guests watched the race from The Tavern, REV’s own private in-field accommodations complete with lounge setup and Florida-inspired food. Sunday’s guests were treated to a pre-race concert with The Band Perry at the start/finish line before enjoying the race from REV’s Turn 2 hospitality accommodations, featuring a barbecue smoker menu.

During race days, guests enjoyed garage tours, meet-and-greets and even a friendly guest-participation pit challenge.

Also outside of Turn 2, REV Recreation Group showcased a 186-by-150-foot motorhome product display, featuring nine 2017 motor coaches, available for private showings for NASCAR drivers, driver spouses, crew chiefs and luxury RV owners. The display also featured a one-of-a-kind 3D experience that allowed prospects to customize their dream motorhome.
