RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Longtime Owner of Richfield Trailer Supply Passes at 88

148104510277323.jpgFormer Richfield Trailer Supply Owner Phyllis J. (Russell) Warsin has passed away at the age of 88 on Dec. 1.

Warsin, along with her late husband Newell, owned Richfield Trailer Supply in Flint, Michigan for more than 40 years.

Warsin was preceded in death by her husband Newell and her daughter Laura. She is survived by her son Eric Warsin, granddaughter Gabrielle, grandson Eric Warsin, Jr., two great grandchildren, Erika and Cody, one great-great-granddaughter Bonnie, many nieces and nephews and friends and employees of Richfield Trailer SUpply.

The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Swartz Funeral Home with Pastor Ross Martello officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.

Since owning Richfield Trailer Supply, the company has since spread to three locations throughout the state of Michigan - Flint, Grand Rapids and Traverse City.
