RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

MITO and Namsung Introduce Two New Axxera Stereos

The AXV150BT features AM/FM/CD/DVD, 2-Zone speaker switching with selectable buttons, Bluetooth and special RV mounting with oversized trim ring. Other features offered are 2.1 amp USB charging for smart devices, as well as a front 3.5mm headphone jack and rear RCA auxiliary input for the RV TV sound.

“We’ve listened to dealers and added the 2-Zone speaker selector, to prevent the confusion of the typical fader used in car audio”, Dual/Axxera Special Markets Sales Manager Steve Coleman says.

These new head units also can serve as great space savers in an RV, allowing the OEM to utilize the extra room for cabinets.

“We are excited to introduce our latest AV solutions tailored to the RV industry," MITO Corporation Vice President Rod Hire says. "We will continue to roll out more industry tailored electronic solutions in the very near future with our partners at Namsung."

Also, available 1st quarter is a new Mechless (NO CD) AXM145BT. This Digital Media Receiver features 2-Zone speaker switching, AM/FM Stereo, Bluetooth, front USB and 3.5mm Aux input, as well as the Rear RCA Auxiliary input for the RV TV Sound.

These new head units are distributed by MITO Corporation and were introduced at the 2016 RVIA Trade Show in Louisville Kentucky.
