RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Denver Man Charged With Theft at RV Dealership

148164570648202.jpgA Dacono, Colorado man is facing an 11-count criminal indictment issued by a Weld County grand jury in connection with the theft of nearly $900,000 through his employment at an RV dealership, according to the Weld County District Attorney's Office.

The indictment also alleges Jeffrey T. Mullins, 36, filed a false tax return for 2012 and evaded taxes in the years that followed.

Mullins, who worked as a sales manager for Transwest in Frederick from 2011 to June 2015, has been charged with one count of theft of between $100,000 and $1 million, one count of filing a false tax return, four counts of tax evasion and five misdemeanor counts of failure to file return or pay tax.
