RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Lippert Components Promotes New Regional Operations Manager

148216774971421.jpgElkhart, Indiana — Lippert Components, Inc. has promoted Jason Gray to Regional Operations Manager, working with LCI teams in Fitzgerald, Georgia; Chester, South Carolina; and Denver, Pennsylvania. Gray will continue to act as General Manager of Plant 16 in Fitzgerald, Georgia while extending his managerial oversight to Chester, South Carolina and Denver Pennsylvania, plant 209 and plant 7, respectively.

A 1998 graduate of Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia where he studied Business Administration, Gray began his career with Fleetwood Homes before transitioning to LCI’s Management Training Program in 1999. Most recently, Gray worked as LCI’s General Manager of the Fitzgerald, Georgia plant while also overseeing operations at the Chester, South Carolina and Denver, Pennsylvania facilities.
