RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

REV Recreation Group Amends IPO

145271033345802.pngThe REV Recreation Group has filed an amended S-1 form with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for its initial public offering. No pricing details were listed in this filing, although in the last filing, the company valued the offering up to $100 million. The company intends to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol REVG.

The underwriters for the offering are Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Baird, BMO Capital Markets, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Jefferies, Wells Fargo and Stifel.

Some of the financial highlights of the REV Group include:

-Net sales were $1.72 billion, $1.74 billion and $1,93 billion for fiscal year 2014, fiscal year 2015 and fiscal year 2016, respectively, which represents a compound annual growth rate of 3.8 percent.

-Net income was $1.5 million, $23 million and $30 million for fiscal year 2014, fiscal year 2015 and fiscal year 2016, respectively, which represents a CAGR of 173 percent.

-Adjusted Net Income was $14 million, $34 million and $55 million for fiscal year 2014, fiscal year 2015 and fiscal year 2016, respectively, which represents a CAGR of 56 percent.

-Adjusted EBITDA was $62 million, $90 million and $127 million for fiscal year 2014, fiscal 2015 and fiscal year 2016, respectively, which represents a CAGR of 27 percent.
