RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

FMCA Readies for 95th International Convention

145469086530578.pngThe Family Motorcoach Association will be holding its 95th International Convention and RV Expo in Chandler, Arizona from March 7-10 at the Rawhide Western Town and Event Center.

Called the "Rally in the Vally," the show will include the latest in motorhomes and trailers from across the area.

The early bird special expires Jan. 6. The people who register early can save up to $30.

Prices range from $10 per person or $25 per family at the daily public gate, $50 for 1-day full access per person, $175 for 4-day full access per couple and $195 per couple for five camping nights and four-day full access, including exhibits, seminars, entertainment, gatherings and meetings with FMCA leaders and friends.
