RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Winnebago Adds Richard Moss of Hanesbrands to Board of Directors

148363336091858.jpgFOREST CITY, Iowa - Winnebago Industries, Inc. has announced the appointment of Richard Moss to its Board of Directors, effective Feb. 1.

Moss is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Hanesbrands Inc., a public company manufacturer of everyday leading basic apparel with annual revenues of more than $5 billion. Moss has served as CFO since 2011. Since joining HanesBrands in 2006, he has also held the positions of Chief Treasury and Tax Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining HanesBrands, Moss served as CFO of Chattem, Inc. He was also previously Vice President and Treasurer of Sealy Corporation and Group Treasurer for Ansaldo STS.

Moss received an MBA and Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. In addition to serving on the full Board for Winnebago Industries, Moss will sit on the Audit and Finance committees.
