RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

35th Annual Idaho RV Super Show Begins Jan. 19

BOISE – The Idaho RV Super Show is returning to Expo Idaho for its 35th year. The show begins Thursday, Jan. 19 and ends Sunday, Jan. 22.

Hosted annually by the Treasure Valley RV Dealers Association, this is the Gem State’s largest RV show. Several Boise-area businesses are participating, including Bretz RV, Camping World RV Sales, Happy Camper RV Sales, Nelson’s RV’s Boise, Nelson’s RV’s Caldwell, Nelson’s RV’s Annex, Bish’s RV Super Center and Martindale’s Custom Truck.

Attendees will get a first-hand look at the latest and greatest in RV models, camping accessories and much more. Shoppers can also register to win a new travel trailer or a customized truck or SUV accessories package valued at $10,000. The lucky winner will be announced Sunday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. Registrants must be present at the drawing to claim their prize.

Tickets are $5 for adults, and $4 for seniors 65+. Kids 12 and under get in free.
Thursday admission is only $2 for adults and seniors. Show hours are Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
