RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Grand Design Hires Industry Veteran to Sales Team

148415063274386.jpgMiddlebury, Indiana - Grand Design Recreational Vehicle Company welcomes industry veteran Tommy Hall to the Reflection and Imagine sales team.

Hall will be responsible for the Reflection and Imagine brands in the Coastal Northeast United States and Canada. Since his hiring into the RV industry in 2009, Hall has developed great relationships with many dealers in the eastern RV market.

“With our new 110,000 square-foot Imagine travel trailer facility quickly ramping up and the continued growing demand for the Reflection product line, Tommy will help ensure we continue to grow and service these markets with the laser focus you expect from Grand Design," Reflection and Imagine General Manager Micah Staley says.

Hall is a graduate from Ball State University with a degree in Marketing. He resides in Mishawaka, Indiana.
