RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Blue Ox Hires Outside Sales Rep for Texas and Louisiana

148466798656457.jpgPENDER, Nebraska - Ron McDaniel has joined Blue Ox as an outside sales representative serving customers in Central, South Western and Southern Texas and Louisiana, according to Blue Ox President and CEO Ellen Kietzmann.

McDaniel has served RV dealers as a regional territory manager and sales consultant focusing on sales and logistics in Louisiana, Mississippi and the Northern Gulf Coast.

“Ron’s experience is in building relationships that focus on dealer confidence and trust,” Kietzmann says. "His past experience showcases his ability to present dealers with comprehensive plans for growth, educating their teams, helping to inform their customers and supporting the product with excellent customer service is what Blue Ox is all about. Ron’s expertise makes him a perfect fit.”

In addition to his industry experience, McDaniel holds a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University.
