Volunteers Lead the Springfield RV Show

Mon Jan 23, 2017

Since 1962, an all-volunteer force has been planning, organizing and putting on the Springfield RV, Camping, & Outdoor Show.

Back then, the event was held in one building on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield.

Now billed as "the biggest, oldest and best family RV, camping and outdoor show in the Northeast," the 55th annual event - traditionally held over Presidents Day weekend - requires three buildings, a sizable chunk of the exposition grounds and is expected to draw some 30,000 visitors.
