RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RVIA Releases Scam Warning of Company Impersonating Association

145072659275994.jpgRVIA has released a statement that an unfamiliar vendor or service provider has been attempting to scam other members of the RV industry by giving the impression tha they are affiliated with and/or represent RVIA and the National RV Trade Show.

RVIA has recently been alerted that some of its members have received an email from a company named Conference Merit offering to sell a purported list of leads from the 2016 National RV Trade Show. This company is not affiliated with RVIA or the National RV Trade Show and has not purchased or otherwise obtained any such information from RVIA.

"Please note that RVIA does not sell, rent and/or distribute our exhibitor or attendees contact information to unauthorized third parties," the RVIA released in a statement press release. "Further, we do not approve the unauthorized use of the RVIA or National RV Trade Show names under any circumstances. Although members are, of course, free to undertake their own due diligence and come to their own business conclusions, please be advised that any business you do decide to conduct with such companies will be at your own risk."
