RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Blue Ox Hires new Sales Development Manager

148536349074820.jpgPENDER, Nebraska – Blue Ox continues to expand its sales force with Bryce Snyder coming on board as sales development manager in Canada and with direct responsibility for North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota according to Blue Ox President and CEO Ellen Kietzmann.

Snyder gained his extensive sales and customer relations experience in his previous position as a national sales representative at a Sioux City, Iowa-based corporation. In 2013, Snyder was part of an overseas deployment with the South Dakota Air National Guard. He has been an active member of the guard since 2007.

“Bryce has an outstanding record in building great relationships with his customers,” Kietzmann says. "We are very proud of his long term membership in the South Dakota Air National Guard. His history of loyalty, commitment and determination will serve our customers well.”

Snyder holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration management from Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. He also served as a men’s basketball coaching assistant during part of his time at the university.

“I am really looking forward to joining the Blue Ox sales team," Snyder says. "I can’t wait to get out there and meet our dealers and continue to build the brand in my territory.”
