RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Lippert Components Promotes Two to Sales Director Positions

148604871450553.jpgElkhart, Indiana - Lippert Components, Inc. has promoted two individuals to Sales Director positions in an effort to best serve LCI’s customers of RV windows and chassis components.

Rick Miller, formerly Sales Representative with LCI, has been promoted to Director of Sales for Chassis Parts and Troy Whetton, formerly Sales Representative with LCI as well, has been promoted to Director of Sales for RV Windows.

“Rick and Troy have both been huge assets to the LCI team in their time with the company," LCI Vice President of Sales Andy Murray says. Rick Miller begins his new role as LCI’s Director of Sales for Chassis Parts with extensive RV industry experience. Miller’s well-rounded understanding of customer needs and sales experience with RV manufacturers lends itself well to his new position, according to a press release.

Troy Whetton begins his new role with 28 years of experience in the glass industry and has a great understanding of both the product and the customer. Whetton started his career with LCI several years ago, working with the HappiJac product line at LCI’s facility in Utah.
