RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

KPA and Learning Center To Present Webinar on Background Checks

Fairfax, Virginia - Purchasing and using a background check is like obtaining a prescription drug from the local pharmacy – there are laws and regulations governing how and when you can use it.

The Mike Molino RV Learning Center and RVDA associate KPA will present a free webinar on Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. ET on how to comply with those regulations.

This webinar will be presented by Todd Higey, ESS General Council. Higey provides valued support to the ESS' Client Care Services, publishing educational information and hosting seminars in order to raise awareness of current and trending issues in the fields of consumer reporting compliance and employment law. He obtained his J.D. from Duquesne University and currently serves as a member of several committees including Government Relations Committee, Birmingham Business Alliance.
