RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Missouri RV and Camping Guide Now Available

148700557423911.jpgDIXON, Missouri - The 2017 edition of the Official RV & Camping Guide to Missouri is now available free of charge, courtesy of the Missouri Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (MOARC).

“We’re very pleased with this year’s guide and think it will be of tremendous help to consumers,” MOARVC President Larry Helms says.

The 48-page camping guide, which features 62 privately owned and operated campgrounds, is available by contacting MOARC at morvcamp@gmail.com. A digital version of the guide is also available at www.CampInMissouri.com, the association’s mobile friendly travel planning website.

The guide is also being distributed at Missouri Travel Centers and at various RV and outdoor recreation shows, including the St. Louis Working Women’s Survival Show, Feb. 24-26 and the Springfield RV Megashow, March 3-5.

Designed and produced by Crowley, Texas-based Texas Advertising, the guide features a layout that enables consumers to quickly find campgrounds in different regions of Missouri. The guide also includes website listings for other state campground associations to assist consumers who plan to travel to other states.

The guide includes a special salute to veterans. It also highlights campgrounds that provide 10 percent discounts to members of the Missouri Farm Bureau. Advertisers in the guide include RV dealers who are affiliated with the Missouri RV Dealers Association.
