Fun Town RV Starts Fundraiser for Employee Involved in Car Crash

Tue Feb 14, 2017

Fun Town RV, based in Cleburne, Texas, has started a GoFundMe account for one of its employees after a serious car accident kept her out of work for nearly a month.

Larisa Rivera, 22, a call agent for Fun Town, was involved in a car accident around 6:40 a.m. on Jan. 8 when she lost control of a Toyota passenger car and crashed into a rock wall. The car caught fire and Rivera hung from the driver's side door by her seat belt, while her 21-year-old friend was unconscious in the back seat, according to a story by the Cleburne Times Review.

Both women survived the crash, but Rivera stayed in the hospital for four days, as an injury to her abdomen required 18 stitches and other injuries to her face required stitches as well.

Fun Town's Dexter Baldwin, who was on the committe to organize the account, says the company tries to be a positive part of the community and this time, the person in need happened to be one of their own team.
