RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RVDA of Canada Releases February Newsletter

The newsletter can be downloaded as a pdf at the “News/Member Newsletter” link on the member side at rvda.ca where issues are archived.

Aside from providing the 2016 National RV Sales Statistics and the 2016 fourth quarter economic review in its members site, RVDA of Canada is featuring its Yearly RV Industry Payroll Survey, wherein, the members' utmost contribution and participation are needed to provide the association with precise salary range information and accurately capture other human factors that influence the current industry.

This Newsletter also includes, highlights for the Annual Canadian RVing and Camping Week, once more, partnering with Make-A-Wish Canada – to host the largest simultaneous marshmallow roast with campgrounds across the country- to generate funds for the program, according to an association press release.
