Sen. Joe Donnelly Works at Robert Weed Plywood for a Day

Tue Feb 21, 2017

Machinery buzzed in the background while saw dust whirled through the air as U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly took aim with an air compressor to clean freshly sanded wooden frames.

Although the U.S. Senate is in recess until today, Donnelly was busy visiting Robert Weed Plywood in Bristol on Monday morning where he tried his hand at manufacturing various components used in producing recreational vehicles, according to a story by Goshen News.

The visit was part of “Donnelly Days,” an ongoing series of events in which Donnelly visits different companies throughout the state. While visiting, Donnelly works alongside the company workers, learning about their jobs and the issues that are important to them.
