RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Lance Camper Announces Winner of California RV Show Giveaway

148786854379930.jpgLance Camper Manufacturing has announced that Dan Burbott of Upland, California has won the new 2017 Lance 1475 Ultra-Light Travel Trailer in the California RV Show sweepstakes.

As it turns out, Burbott is a newcomer to RVing and is indeed looking forward to sharing his new Lance trailer with his fiance and family with plans to start “driveway camping” right away to get used to the rig, according to a press release. He also has trips to local destinations planned for the near future.

“I am blown away with the amount of features Lance has been able to pack into this model and am discussing getting a new Ford F150 to use as a tow vehicle,” Burbott says.

Lance has partnered with the show and its promotors by providing the grand prize for its annual sweepstakes for the last 13 years.
