Aqua-Hot offering Certified Technician Training Program

Mon Feb 27, 2017

Aqua-Hot Heating Systems will offer its Certified Technician Training Program on July 24 at the National Indoor RV Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The session counts for eight credit hours toward RVDA-RVIA certification/recertification. Registration is at www.aquahot.com/authorizedservicetraining.

The single, eight-hour day will focus on the 400 and 600 series of Aqua-Hot heating systems. The course covers hydronic heating principles of design, troubleshooting and diagnostic testing, diesel and LP burner maintenance and repair and how to perform an annual check. An electrode adjustment tool, refractometer, identification badges and tags are included. Sessions are also held twice a month at Aqua-Hot's Frederick, Colorado facility and periodically at regional training events.

For RV dealers and repair centers, employing Aqua-Hot factory trained technicians translates into increased parts sales and satisfied return customers. It also makes them eligible to become a Factory Authorized Service Center. Currently, there are more than 250 such centers across North America.

"NIRVC is a high-end coach dealership and Aqua-Hot is a natural fit," National Indoor RV Center General Manager Todd Springs says. "We want our technicians to be as effective as possible, so we arranged this training and opened it to others in the region who might benefit."

Aqua-Hot Heating Systems is the leader in hydronic heating systems for RV, trucks, buses, heavy equipment cabs and alternative fuel vehicles. Its products run on diesel, propane and natural gas and provide gentle, even heat and on-demand hot water.
