RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Big Time RV Premiers March 5, Showcasing Lazydays RV

145072297113923.pngTampa, Florida - "Big Time RV" gives viewers an all-access pass inside Lazydays RV, located in Denver, Tampa, Florida and Tucson, Arizona.

The season premiere of the show will be a back-to-back on March 5 at 9 p.m. ET on the travel channel.

The first show, "Europe or Bust" shows a politican that chooses an RV that can accommodate his family while on the road for work. Also, three mountain bikers need an RV that will get them to Colorado's most rugged trails. Finally, two adventurous full-timers want a downsized RV for their European holiday.

The second show, "Home on the Road will premiere March 5 at 9:30 p.m.

It will show three lifelong friends from Tampa, Florida who want a coach for a cross-country trip. Also, childhood friends and business partners want to expand their traveling photo booth business. Finally, a family of 10 tries to find an RV that's the perfect fit.
