RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

KING Hires New Regional Sales Manager - Aftermarket

KING has announced the addition of Marc Lubker to the KING team in the role of Regional Sales Manager – Aftermarket (Southeast and Southwest Regions).

Long-time Field Consultant for The Coast Distribution System in the Southeast US, Lubker brings a great breadth of knowledge and experience to the position, having spent his entire professional career in various roles within the RV Parts and Accessory sector. After completing his studies at Capital University in Ohio, he worked as a Retail Parts Manager at major RV dealerships in Texas, then as a Territory Manager with Stag-Parkway, learning the challenges and intricacies of warehouse distribution, before joining the Coast team in 2002.

At Coast, Lubker developed a passion for working with dealers large and small, as well as big box retailers, to help them improve their profitability through merchandising and strategic planning.

“With his unique understanding of our industries’ supply chain complexities, Marc will be a great fit for our team as we continue to roll out our new and groundbreaking products into the marketplace”, KING Vice President of Sales Bob Barra says.
