The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Kampgrounds of America Inc. and Keystone RV Company are partnering again this year for the 2017 edition of the “What’s Behind The Yellow Sign?” Giveaway.
This year’s contest starts Wednesday, March 1 and runs through May 31. The winning entry will be selected in a random drawing of all qualified entries. The winner will receive a new 2018 Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite travel trailer valued at $28,292, along with a $500 KOA Gift Card and $1,000 cash.
The contest is being promoted heavily in the new 2017 KOA Directory as well as the KOA.com website and on Kampgrounds of America’s social channels and through Keystone RV’s digital and social channels.
The winner will be selected shortly after May 31 and notified the first week of June. Anyone can enter the Giveaway once a day, every day during the contest period. Entrants who share the contest on online social channels will receive extra contest entries. There is no purchase necessary to participate in the Giveaway.
