RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

RV Rental Association Surveying RV Rental Businesses

145072686053695.jpgFairfax, Virginia - The RV Rental Association is surveying operators of RV rental businesses to gauge the current state of the rental market in terms of fleet size and makeup, economic impact and consumer preferences. Results of the survey will be used to promote this segment of the industry and expand consumer understanding of RV rental travel options.

This online survey is being conducted through the RV Retailer Intelligence program, a service of the RV Assistance Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of RVDA. Individual responses will remain confidential. RV rental business operators, can click on the link below to complete the survey.

An aggregate report on the results will be released this summer. No individual company responses will be released.
