RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

LaSalle Bristol CEO Announces Retirement; Replacement Named

148968138015877.jpgLaSalle Bristol CEO Richard Karcher has announced his retirement, while Andrew Batson has been names as the new CEO of the company.

"It's really hard to believe that it's been 10 years since I joined LaSalle Bristol and eight years since I stepped into the role of CEO," Karcher says. "We've been through some tough times together. I believe the challenges we overcame together made us a stronger, better company. Now that we've survived the recession and moved into growth mode, it's time for someone else to lead us into the future.

"Andrew Batson is energetic, innovative and has a sales and marketing focus that we need now that we're growing. He will do a great job for LaSalle Bristol."
