RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Blue Ox Hires New Dealer Development Manager

149028515893157.jpgPENDER, Nebraska - Harry Kusch has joined Blue Ox as a dealer development manager in outside sales serving customers in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia, according to Blue Ox President and CEO Ellen Kietzmann.

Kusch has previously served in various roles in the oil and energy industries, focusing on sales and the management of accounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan.

“Harry’s great strength in building trusting relationships with customers derives from his ability to listen to their needs and in applying product knowledge to fulfill those needs,” Kietzmann says. “We are very happy to have Harry on the team and look forward to the enthusiasm he brings to our tradition of service and education to our dealers: helping our mutual customer understand how our products can improve the towing experience and supporting our product with outstanding customer service.”

In addition to his industry experience, Kusch holds an associate’s degree in business administration from Penn State—Fayette.
