149028513131727.jpgGoshen, Indiana - Genesis Products broke ground March 22 on its new 200,000 square-foot facility in Goshen, Indiana.

The 17-acre site is located at the corner of Dierdorff and Eisenhower Drive in the Goshen Industrial Park. The new facility will house production, as well as the corporate office. The facility has a glass and metallic look, incorporating the company's corporate colors. The contemporary theme is continued inside the building.

“This new facility is the largest expansion that we’ve ever done and will be used for panel production, the core of our business,” President and CEO Jon Wenger says.

The complex will have 364 feet of rail service.

Nuway Construction, a design/build general contractor located in Goshen, was chosen for the project.

“We are excited to work on this project because we don’t get the opportunity, very often, in Goshen to showcase a high-end facility such as this one,” Nuway Construction Vice President of Operations Andy Nesbitt says.

This is Genesis Products' eighth facility, including its third in Goshen, according to Marketing Associate Caitlin Munch.

The facility's completion date is estimated for November 2017.
