RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Ketelsen RV Holds Grand Opening Celebration at New Location

Ketelsen RV held its Grand Opening Celebration March 24-25 at its newest Iowa location in DeSoto. The ribbon cutting for the new location was held on Friday with DeSoto and Adel business chambers in attendance, according to a story by Adel News.

Ketelsen RV is DeSoto's newest business in the town's growing commercial developments and DeSoto is thrilled to have them. They have a friendly staff and Manager Ray Nietert is ready to greet you on your next visit.

Ketelsen RV was founded in 1962 on a family farm in Marion, Iowa and this is the company's second location. Owners Gary and Debbie Ketelsen are thrilled to be right off the interstate for their customers' convenience and their dealership provides service in all aspects for campers.
