Some in the community are pushing to pass an amendment to the county code that would allow for an RV rental business to operate out of the former location of Brewsters Fine Foods.

The message taken to the boards of local organizations was that it is a long term business commitment that will provide jobs and revenue, according to a story by All Point Bulletin. The notice received unanimous support from the boards of the taxpayers’ association, the voters’ association, the chamber of commerce and the Point Roberts Community Advisory Committee.
