RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Mobile RV Academy Hosting Webinar on April 11

Mobile RV Academy and Workamper News will be hosting a Webinar on Tuesday, April 11 at 1 p.m. CST on the recently launched National RV Training Academy and how it will benefit dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, campgrounds and other RV industry leaders with its new Texas location and its venue of training opportunities.

Mobile RV Academy and Workamper News will continue to offer its nationwide mobile training format that is currently hosted at various campgrounds and dealerships for RV Technicians, RV Inspectors and RV Campground Maintenance Techs.

With the new technical facility, the Mobile RV Academy will be able to provide a year round Texas location for the RV industry to host various vendor-specific training, Terry Cooper, an RVDA/RVIA Master Certified Technican and Professional Trainer said.
