City Council approved the zoning change so the property owner, Lawrence Schumacher of Schumacher Dugan Construction, can sell about 18 acres of the parcel in the Franklin Interstate Park to Camping World, according to a story by the Franklin Journal-News.

Camping World purchased the former Tom Raper RV dealerships in Fairfield; London, Ohio; and Richmond, Indiana in 2015.

The proposed 30,000-square-foot facility is expected to have as many as 50 full-time employees, according to the project’s developer.
