RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

NATDA Announces Launch of Annual Buyer's Guide

149269989895388.jpgSaint Petersburg, Florida - The North American Trailer Dealers Association has announced the launch of the annual NATDA Buyer’s Guide, which will be available to dealers in May.

“The NATDA Buyer’s Guide is essentially the yellow pages for our industry," NATDA Executive Director Jesse Battle says. "It has all the information a dealer will need to discover new manufacturers."

The 2017 NATDA Buyer’s Guide allows dealers to see “at a glance” the offerings of leading trailer manufacturers in the industry. All segments of the trailer industry are in the Buyer’s Guide, including cargo, race, horse, livestock, enclosed, light utility, equipment, heavy utility, tilt, fifth wheel, gooseneck, towable RV, car hauler, ATV, motorcycle, snowmobile, living quarter, concession, truck beds, marine, dump, flatbed and toy hauler markets (26,000 pounds and under).

NATDA is also excited to announce a new feature, a dedicated page on its site, which will allow dealers to view each product link, dealer network, social media link and connect via e-mail to reach manufacturers. Dealers will be able to search manufacturers by trailer types and state in our new online portal which will add a whole new level of ease for its members.
