Mon Apr 24, 2017

145072659275994.jpgIn an effort to give the valued RVIA members a more comprehensive understanding of the value and safety benefits provided by the RVIA in-plant inspection service, the Standards Department is inviting RVIA official representatives and other upper management personal to participate directly in an upcoming regularly scheduled inspection at one of their respective production lines by accompanying the RVIA inspector.

RVIA inspections typically take anywhere from one to two and a half hours to complete and inspection, depending on the production level of the facility. This opportunity will allow management representatives to witness how the RVIA inspector interacts with the plant-level contact and how a critical part of standards inspection service is devoted to providing education on the applicable codes and standards. In addition, participants will also see how the inspection report is completed, the exit interview is conducted and the way in which the RVIA staff handles these important monitoring functions.

Anyone at the RV-OEM executive level that is interested in this unique opportunity may contact John-Vincent Nichols at jnichols@rvia.org as soon as possible.
