RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Blue Ox Hires New Outside Sales Rep

149427272646670.jpgPENDER, Nebraska - Korey Stoner has joined Blue Ox as an outside sales representative serving customers in Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, according to Blue Ox President and CEO Ellen Kietzmann.

Stoner comes to Blue Ox from field sales of drilling equipment and chemical tank sales in the energy industry.

"I am delighted to add Korey to the Blue Ox sales team," Kietzmann says. "He has a long history of commitment to the needs of his customers. His dedication to customer satisfaction in his prior positions is exemplary. I am confident that he will bring that same commitment and enthusiasm to Blue Ox and to the dealers in his territory."

In addition to his industry experience, Stoner also served in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed in Pensacola, Florida.
