The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.
Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

ELKHART, Indiana – WFCO Electronics has rolled out a new aftermarket product packaging design in recent months, with dealerships across the country now displaying the updated brand image.
“Updating our aftermarket packaging seemed like a natural progression at this stage of our brand image update,” Arterra Distribution President Rich Dotson says. “We have been introducing more modern visuals in all areas of our business to better reflect the leading role WFCO holds in the RV industry, and it’s important to reflect that directly to RV owners through our aftermarket packaging.”
WFCO’s most popular products are the first to receive the overhaul, since inventory of such products has a higher turnover rate than some of the more niche-oriented electrical components.
It’s important to note, that while the new design is more visually appealing, it still provides all the necessary information customers need at the point-of-sale, according to a press release.
