RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

La Mesa RV Announces Job Fair May 19-20

San Diego – La Mesa RV Center, one of the nation’s largest multi-location RV dealerships, has announced a job fair for RV Technicians, Service Advisors, RV Sales, Drivers and other RV related positons to fill openings at its Mesa and Phoenix dealerships. Interviews will be conducted Friday and Saturday, May 19 and 20 at La Mesa RV Center, 7525 W. McDowell Road in Phoenix. The job fair will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

"In order to provide the level of customer service that we are known for, we are seeking candidates to fill a number of openings in both our Mesa and Phoenix locations.”

Job applications and resumes are now being accepted in advance of the job fair for RV Technicians as well as RV service advisors, RV sales, drivers and RV parts personnel. Prior experience in the RV industry is preferred but not required. Those with backgrounds in the RV, marine or aircraft industries with excellent customer service, technical, electrical, plumbing, propane, hydraulic or carpentry skills are encouraged to apply. Excellent pay and benefit packages come with these positions.
