RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Dicor Hires New Marketing Specialist

ELKHART, Indiana – Alexa Szybowicz has joined Dicor Corporation as the new Marketing Specialist. Szybowicz brings several years of sales and marketing experience to her role.

“We are thrilled to welcome Alexa to our team as an integral part of our mission to expand our efforts in the marketing department,” Dicor Director of Marketing Larry Lebryk says. “She brings a great energy and firsthand marketing experience to the position that is going to bode well for our brands.”

Szybowicz has a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University South Bend’s Judd Leighton School of Business & Economics, where she double-majored in Marketing and Advertising.

In her previous role at the South Bend Tribune, she created media plans for clients and conducted research to develop advertising tactics using print and digital vehicles; i.e. newspaper, direct mail, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media advertising, website redesign, etc.
