RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Pacific Coachworks Hires Former Motorcross Champion

149504023715839.jpgPERRIS, California – Pacific Coachworks, Inc. has announced that former motorcross champion Sean Hamblin has joined its team.

Hamblin was Canadian 125 Champion back in 2000, was on the Factory Suzuki team from 2002 to 2004, and Monster Kawasaki in 2005. He subsequently created and branded his own team with Monster’s first year in Mexico. In 2006, he was part of the Rockstar Suzuki team, in 2007 participated in the World MXGP and British Championships, and 2008 with Factory Yamaha.

“Sean has had extensive experience with being integrated with our toy hauler demographics,” Pacific Coachworks Vice President Jeff Daily says. "The motorcross/supercross and RV industry truly go hand in hand and we are excited to have Sean on our team.”

“Having been a professional rider, I also engaged with various manufacturers whether it was for bikes, parts or RVs to carry our toys,” Hamblin says. "I am excited to now be on the manufacturer side and share my knowledge.”
