RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Aliner's Brett Randall Named Finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year

Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania - EY has announced that Brett Randall of Aliner is a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2017 Award in the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia region. The awards program, which is celebrating its 31st year, recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Randall was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 16 at the The Wyndham Grand Downtown Pittsburgh Hotel.

“It is quite an honor to be recognized as a finalist," Randall says. "I truly see this as recognition for the entire Aliner team. We are very proud that our hard work is leading to positive results. We feel the future is bright and the best is yet to come.”

Now in its 31st year, the program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities an more than 60 countries throughout the world. Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National competition. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on Nov. 18. The awards are the culminating event of the Strategic Growth Forum nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
