RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Video: Keystone Releases New Colt by Bullet Travel Trailer

149546760149670.jpgThe Keystone RV Company has released the Colt by Keystone Bullet, a luxury ultra lite travel trailer than can be towed by smaller cars, SUVs and trucks.

The Colt is designed to feature all of the comforts of a full-sized trailer, but in an affordable, easy-to-tow package.

The new model will measure 20 feet long by 9 feet, 6 inches tall and weights just more than 3,000 pounds. The powder coated steel frame also comes with self adjusting brakes, aluminum wheels and LED tail lights.

Inside, the travel trailer features a wet bath with integrated toilet and sink, hardwood drawer fronts with full extension ball bearing drawer guides, decorative window treatments and a collapsible clothes hanger.

Outside speakers, a TV antenna and a Schwintek slideout system complete the exterior of the model, while an air conditioner, a convection microwave oven and a 24-inch LED flat screen TV make up the included options on the model.
