RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Lance Camper Partners with Hellwig Products for Overland Expo West

Lancaster, California – Lance Camper Mfg. once again attended the Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona. Overlanding is defined as self-reliant travel to remote destinations where the journey is the principal goal. No other event offers a professional level trade show including camping vehicles, equipment and services alongside seminars taught by the world's leading overland adventure experts all in one place.

This year, Lance partnered with Hellwig Suspension Products in a two unit product display featuring a stock version of Lance’s flagship 1172 Truck Camper alongside the Hellwig/Lance “RuleBreaker” featuring the Lance 650 Truck Camper mounted on a customized Nissan Titan XD PRO4X diesel.

“This year’s Expo was the best to date, with perfect weather and an ideal location closer to Flagstaff, resulting in steady traffic and interested customers all three days,” Lance Camper Director of Marketing Bob Rogers says. "Lance was also invited to participate in Nissan’s Titan press event held prior to the expo. Media were able to evaluate the capabilities of the Hellwing/Lance Rule Beaker alongside stock Titan trucks while traversing a dirt road to the floor of the Grand Canyon for a shoreline lunch of shrimp tacos.”

Saturday was capped off with a Ninkasi Brewery sponsored Happy Hour in the Lance/Hellwig display with attendees earning food and drink by touring the rigs and answering related product questions.
