On May 22, American RV celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony for an expansion that will add more than 21,000 square feet to the company's main sales building.
The expansion, led by Dykhouse Construction, will include more than 14,000 square feet of indoor showroom, office space and waiting rooms. The new showroom will offer customers a chance to tour the latest models of RVs, fifth wheels and travel trailers in a comfortable space year-round. It will also feature kiosks for customers that want to browse the latest inventory and compare different models at their own pace. An additional 8,000 plus square feet will be dedicated to six new service bays.
“This expansion is about providing the best possible service for our customers,” American RV General Manager Chad Neff says. "As our industry has evolved and changed over the past few years, so have we. We want to keep up with the demands of our growing business, while still providing the high level of service our customers expect."
The groundbreaking commenced and Dykhouse Construction began digging and laying pipe for the plumbing and electric. The doors into the main sales area will be closed for the duration of the construction. Also, the company's LP and dump stations will be closed for the duration as well.
