Escapees RV Club Announces New RV Education Program

Wed Jun 7, 2017

Livingston, Texas - Escapees RV Club has announced its new RV education program, RVers Online University, is now open to the public. This web-based program brings the content of its acclaimed RVers’ Boot Camp online, in an easy-to-access format.

This new online option makes it easier for RVers to take advantage of the expertise that created RVers’ Boot Camp. With courses taught by industry experts such as Mac McCoy, Jim Koca, George Mayleben and Mark Nemeth, RVOU brings useful, reliable information to RVers anytime. Instructors teach a variety of RV-related topics, including driving safety, personal safety, tow hitches and safety, weight management, RV systems, 12v power and more, covering necessary information for safe operation and maintenance of an RV. Users can take, and retake, as many lessons as needed, as well as pertinent end-course assessments. Students also have direct access to instructors for follow-up questions. Courses on domicile, budgeting and similar RV lifestyle needs are planned for the near future.

“We often get requests to share our RVers’ Boot Camp seminars online so that those who cannot attend can still access the education they provide," Escapees RV Club Marketing Director Georgianne Austin says. "It excites me that we’re finally able to fulfill that request. Our instructors share more than 100 years of RV and safety experience between them. The education provided by RVOU is dependable and applicable to nearly all RVers, regardless of rig or travel style. I look forward to seeing this program grow in content and reach.”

An added perk of RVOU is a discount through Bancorp South. Students who complete the operation/maintenance/safety learning path of RVOU receive a certificate of completion. This certificate may be presented to Bancorp South for a discount on RV insurance.
