The Annual Report details the show attendance numbers, finances, shipments, economic impact and other related trends and numbers from 2016 in the RV industry.

The following is an excerpt from RVIA President Frank Hugelmeyer in his letter to introduce the Annual Report.

"We are proud to report that our association is as strong and robust as the industry it represents...In 2016, we saw the RV market hit a 40-year high with shipments climbing 15 percent to 430,700 units. Looking ahead, we see the RV market continue to track upward in 2017 with projected shipments on track to exceed 470,000 units by the end of the year. This level of success as an industry and as an organization stems from the tremendous synergy between members and staff. The association will continue to build on this success in helping to push the RV industry to new heights.

"This past year also demonstrated what ramping up federal advocacy efforts can accomplish. From pushing for the passage of the Outdoor Recreation's Economic Contributions Act, to forming the Outdoor Recreation Industry Roundtable, to participating in Inaugural events, RVIA will continue to aggressively raise its profile on Capital Hill to become a more effective advocate at the federal level.

"The RV market and RVIA have been on an incredible roll. We look forward to working with the board, committees and staff to continue this tremendous journey of success."
