RVIA Economic Impact Study

The Recreation Vehicle Industry Association commissioned an Economic Impact Study on the RV industry, released on June 7, 2016. The study found that the RV industry contributes about $49.7 billion in economic output or 0.28 percent of the Gross Domestic Product. Through its production and distribution linkages, the industry impacts firms in 426 of the 440 sectors of the United States economy.

Nationwide, the industry is responsible for 216,170 jobs, both directly and inderectly, creating an economic impact of $37.5 billion. The full study results, along with each individual state and congressional district's economic impact is available on the website by clicking here .

Skyline Announces Retirement of Three Board Members

ELKHART, Indiana - Skyline Corporation has announced that three long-time members of the company's Board of Directors, Jerry Hammes, William Lawson and David Link, each have notified the company of their respective intent to retire from the Board.

Hammes and Link will not stand for reelection to the Board at the company's upcoming 2017 Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Lawson will retire as of July 24. Their decisions to retire and not stand for reelection to the Board are not a result of any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices, according to a press release.

Hammes, 85, has served on the Board since 1986; Lawson, 80, has served on the Board since 1973; and Link, 80, has served on the Board since 1994. Each of the directors currently serves as a member of the Board's Audit, Nominating and Corporate Governance, and Compensation Committees.

The Board intends to nominate candidates for election to the Board at the upcoming 2017 Annual Meeting of Shareholders to fill the positions resulting from the retirements of Hammes, Lawson and Link and may appoint a director to fill Lawson's unexpired term.
